SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- January 8, 2026
USANA Health Sciences said Jim Brown has stepped down as chief executive officer and president and that Kevin Guest, the company's executive chairman, has returned to the CEO role effective immediately while continuing to serve as chairman. Brown, who spent 19 years at the company and the last three as CEO, will remain in an advisory role for a period at the board's discretion.
Guest, 63, joined USANA in 2003 and previously served as CEO from 2016, and co-CEO from 2015, until he became executive chairman in June 2023. The company said the leadership transition is part of its commitment to accelerating growth and enhancing shareholder value. In a regulatory filing, USANA said its compensation committee had not yet set the terms of Brown's separation or Guest's pay as CEO.
"As USANA enters its next phase, the Board believes this transition will position the Company to accelerate strategic priorities that meaningfully contribute to long-term growth opportunities," said Gilbert Fuller, the board's lead independent director. Guest said he was "truly energized to return to the Company and lead this exceptional organization once again," citing the strength of the sales force and management team.
