Jusuru Tops Ranking Charts
The company's flagship product, Jusuru Life Blend, is a liquid nutraceutical that promotes healthy aging, active joints and younger looking skin. 'Jusuru' means 'to live' in Japanese. The name is inspired by a village in Japan where people live significantly longer and tend to stay healthy and active into their 80s, 90s and beyond. Researchers have found no genetic difference between the residents of this village and other Japanese but they did discover a nutritional distinction: higher levels of a substance called hyaluronic acid (HA) that is found naturally in everybody's cells but that diminishes with age. Jusuru Life Blend's key ingredient is a patented joint and skin health nutraceutical called BioCell Collagen II (BCII). BCII contains a naturally occurring matrix of HA, chondroitin sulfate and collagen type II. Jusuru is the only liquid product on the market that delivers BCII using a process (also patented) that optimizes its molecular weight into a more easily absorbed-and therefore more bio-available-liquid form.
Jusuru Life Blend also contains, in a single one-ounce serving, as much resveratrol as two bottles of red wine, which is probably why Jusuru is packaged in wine bottles. Resveratrol, a natural component of red wine, has been the subject of intensive research on the so-called French paradox-the statistical fact that the French live healthier lives despite having a diet high in saturated fats. Recent studies demonstrate that caloric restriction stimulates a gene that reduces the effects of aging, and among thousands of compounds tested, resveratrol has been shown to possess a unique ability to mimic the same benefits.
In addition to BCII and resveratrol, Jusuru also contains a blend of other juices from different parts of the world. These juices provide a formidable mix of other antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and amino acids. They also give Jusuru Life Blend a unique, slightly exotic-yet delicious-taste. The fact that it is a juice probably points to a second inspiration for its name (juice/Jusuru, get it?).
