"When I started this business 20 years ago," said Patty Brisben, company founder and chairwoman, "I did so because I wanted every woman to have the opportunity to be financially independent and to work part-time hours for full-time pay. I wanted to ensure that women weren't forced to choose between a career and a family."
Over the course of its 20-year history, Pure Romance has done just that - providing independent business opportunities to more than 100,000 women all across the world. During World Conference, the company, founded in Cincinnati and headquartered in Loveland, OH, plans to "paint the town pink" to celebrate its 20 years of empowering, educating, and entertaining women worldwide.
"Cincinnati is our hometown. We're proud of it, and we're excited about the growth and development we've seen downtown in the past few years," said Chris Cicchinelli, Pure Romance president and CEO. "We wanted to take this opportunity to share it and show it off to our Consultants and their families. And, at the end of the day, we'd rather spend our money here, in a city that's been so good to us for 20 years."
