Silpada Designs' Co-founders started the company in 1997 after six years of personally selling jewelry at parties. So many women said, "I want your job!" that they decided they had to share the opportunity with others.Artisans from all over the world design Silpada's sterling silver jewelry. Because individual artisans create each piece of Silpada jewlery, each piece is slightly different from the next.
Silpada representatives do not make formal presentations at home shows, and there is no pressure. Guests drop in and purchase the things they like. Silpada’s home shows average over $750 in sales, nearly twice the industry average.
