Unicity International is a Utah-based nutritional-products and wellness direct-selling company whose history combines several older businesses. Its corporate timeline traces part of its heritage to the Rexall pharmacy name, founded in 1903, and to Rexall-Sundown, established in 1988. The Bios Life fiber product was introduced in 1990, followed by a person-to-person distributor model in 1991. The modern Unicity company was formed in 2001 when Rexall Showcase International and Utah-based Enrich International combined under the Unicity name. Stewart Hughes, previously a successful Unicity distributor, became chief executive officer in 2006.
