Mannatech reported third-quarter 2022 net sales of 35.5 million dollars, down 10.0 percent from a year earlier and down 1.3 percent in constant dollars. A stronger U.S. dollar against the Korean won and Japanese yen reduced sales by about 3.4 million dollars. Operating income fell to 1.4 million dollars from 3.3 million dollars, and net income was 1.2 million dollars, or 0.61 dollars per diluted share, versus 2.9 million dollars, or 1.44 dollars.
The company had about 150,000 current independent associate and customer positions, compared with 166,000 a year earlier, and new recruits fell 23 percent to 19,273. Nine-month net sales totaled 102.9 million dollars, down 14.5 percent.
