Mannatech said it plans to open operations in Thailand in 2023, which would be its 26th market, with China operated separately through a cross-border e-commerce platform. The company described Thailand as a gateway to further expansion in Southeast Asia.
Mannatech cited Thailand's population of about 70 million, a direct-selling market of about 3.1 billion dollars and a dietary supplement market of about 3.9 billion dollars as of 2020. President and chief executive Al Bala said the expansion will help the company continue to grow. Mannatech Korea general manager Roh Jae-hong said Thailand is expected to become a new growth engine.
