The distribution company manufactures products derived from the juice of the rare fruit grown in Tahiti known as noni. An array of products are made from the pulp of the fruit, including energy drinks, dietary supplements and shampoos. The makers cite many health benefits from the fruit, including weight loss and fighting heart disease, though it has not been evaluated by FDA.
Danny Glover, star of the "Lethal Weapon" series, will hold a free presentation on behalf Tahitian Noni International at 6 p.m. Saturday at Market Hall Center, 2205 E. Court St. in Kankakee.
