Avon Walk

Avon Walk for cancer is a 39 mile walk that takes place in select areas across the United States in honor of breast cancer victims. The walk is designed to raise money to help aid research, awareness, screening and treatment with the hopes of destroying breast cancer once and for all.

The Avon walk takes place over the course of two days and includes both Avon representatives, customers, friends and family. Once registered for the Avon walk, participants are assigned an "Avon Walker Buddy" who is an Avon affiliate willing to help in training, advice and conditioning prior to the walk. Participants can expect to see a great deal of enthusiasm, cheering, and clapping along the way.

The walk has no required mileage or level of physical participation as marathoners can walk 26.2 miles on Saturday and 13.1 miles on Sunday or both over the course of the weekend. There will be transfer points, and buses for those needing to stop, in addition to the security of a pre-organized safe route through interesting and scenic city areas.
