QNET

QNET has denied any connection to 44 Cameroonian nationals arrested by Ghana police on April 7, 2025, at Kenyasi Abrem in the Ashanti Region. Police said the suspects collected 4,500,000 CFA francs from victims, 32 men and 11 women, with false promises of jobs in Ghana, in a scam police said was popularly referred to as QNET.

At a press conference in Accra on April 14, Biram Fall, QNET's regional general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, said the company had nothing to do with the arrested individuals. He said QNET is a direct selling company and not a Ponzi scheme, travel agency or visa service, and does not promise jobs abroad.

Global Compliance Officer Naana Quartey rejected calls for QNET to be banned in Ghana, saying the people misusing its name should be pursued instead. She urged the government to pass legislation regulating the direct selling industry.
