Lia Sophia was a fashion-jewelry direct-selling company with roots in the former Act II and Lady Remington jewelry businesses. Victor Kiam acquired the Act II home-sales jewelry company in 1986, later renamed it Lady Remington, and the business was relaunched as Lia Sophia in 2004 in reference to Tony and Elena Kiam’s daughters. The company sold affordable fashion jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and seasonal collections, through a home-party sales model.
