Oriflame said first-quarter 2025 euro sales fell 7 percent to 145.6 million euros from 156.5 million euros a year earlier, or 6 percent in local currencies, a sharp improvement from the 25 percent decline reported a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA was a loss of 1.0 million euros, compared with a profit of 6.7 million euros, and the adjusted operating loss was 7.2 million euros. Non-recurring costs totaled 17.7 million euros.

Europe and CIS sales fell 4 percent, while Turkiye and Africa grew 6 percent, led by Nigeria. The company said its Beauty Community Model is now active in 48 markets representing more than 80 percent of sales, and that the total community declined 2 percent. Oriflame is continuing the transition of production from its factory in Poland to contract manufacturers.

Cash fell to 56.2 million euros from 62.0 million euros at year-end, with 65.0 million euros drawn on its revolving credit facility after a further 20 million euro drawdown in the quarter. The recapitalization agreed in March with holders of more than 91 percent of its notes still requires approval from the revolving credit facility lenders, and the company again flagged material uncertainty about its ability to continue as a going concern.
