Beachbody is a health and fitness company that got its start 11 years ago when its founder and current CEO, Carl Daikeler, began selling health and fitness products using telemarketing. The company is dedicated to helping people reach their fitness goals through the use of nutrition and exercise with the help of motivation and commitment. The Beachbody program offers a full line of nutritional supplements and fitness programs on DVD, as well as the Team Beachbody Club, where members can receive diet and exercise advice and have access to trainers.

In 2007 Daikeler launched Team Beachbody as a new business model for distributing Beachbody products. Among the services offered is the P90X workout, community support, a cool down chat area, and access to foods, workout tips, advice on eating healthy, and a 10% discount on Team Beachbody merchandise. The fitness videos offered by Beachbody include P90X Muscle Building DVDs, Hip Hop Abs, Slim in 6 weeks, 10 Minute Trainer and many others. Beachbody also offers coaches the opportunity to receive financial rewards according to Team Beachbody�s compensation plan.
