Natura Cosmeticos said it has completed the sale of its stake in the Avon businesses in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, known as Avon CARD, to Grupo PDC, a consumer goods company with operations in Central America and Peru.
The Brazilian beauty group announced the agreement on September 15, 2025. The deal carried a nominal price of 1 dollar plus a payment of 22 million dollars tied to a receivable owed by Avon Guatemala to Natura's wholly owned Mexican subsidiary. Under the agreement, Natura will act as licensor of the Avon brand and supplier of finished products, which will continue to be sold in those countries.
Natura has said the divestiture is part of a corporate simplification strategy launched in 2022 and does not affect its integrated Natura and Avon operations elsewhere in Latin America. The company separately agreed in September to sell Avon International, excluding Russia, to an affiliate of Regent, with closing expected in the first quarter of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
